Ekkehard Schmidt<\/h2><div class=\"w-post-elm post_content usg_post_content_1\"><p>Founder<br \/>\nInternist and cardiologist<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"w-post-elm post_content usg_post_content_2\"><p>Ekkehard Schmidt, MD, is a cardiologist with heart and soul. After starting his studies in human medicine in Berlin, he continued his studies in Kiel at the Christian Albrechts University from 1983. In 1986 he completed his studies with the 3rd state examination and was an assistant physician in the Department of Cardiac, Thoracic and Vascular Surgery at Kiel University Hospital until 1989. From 1989-1995, Dr. Schmidt trained as a specialist in cardiology and internal medicine at Kiel University Hospital under Prof. Simon.<\/p>\n<p>As a co-founder of Cardiologicum Hamburg since 1995, he was particularly responsible for the development of the internal company structure, among other things, as head of personnel. In 2018, he and his physician colleagues founded dpv analytics GmbH as a &#8220;spin off&#8221; of Cardiologicum Hamburg and developed ritmo, which won the German Medical Award in 2021.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. med. Schmidt has outstanding, long-standing experience with regard to the detection of high-risk patients. Stephan Kranz has been working as a specialist in nuclear medicine in Hamburg since 2007, with particular emphasis on nuclear cardiology. At dpv-analytics, his work focuses on development, marketing and quality management. He is working on the ongoing optimisation of the new screening procedure, familiarising doctors, patients and health insurers with the topic of dpv-ritmo and is responsible for the reliability and safety of the system in daily practice and application.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. med Kranz studied human medicine in Marburg, Vienna and Zurich and completed his doctorate in Hamburg. Matthias Glawe has been working as a specialist in nuclear medicine since 2006 with his own practice in Hamburg. He is the brains behind the technical development of the biosensor.<\/p>\n<p>With his interest in digital developments and his medical expertise as a nuclear cardiologist, he recognised early on the new opportunities that digital stroke screening can offer and developed a trend-setting solution.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. med. Glawe is a graduate in human medicine. She studied &#8220;Intercultural Management \/ Business Administration&#8221; at the University of Jena and worked for various companies and international organizations in the areas of product development and sales, communication, marketing and networking. For dpv analytics, Anja Schwind supports the team in strategic and operative business field development, especially in cooperation, market development and communication.<\/p>\n<p>She has also been running her own company since 2006, which offers digital marketing on SmartScreens at the point of sale throughout Germany. For the French network &#8220;Destination Napoleon&#8221; she coordinates the conception, financing and realization of transnational cultural projects throughout Europe.
