Ekkehard Schmidt, MD, is a cardiologist with heart and soul. After starting his studies in human medicine in Berlin, he continued his studies in Kiel at the Christian Albrechts University from 1983. In 1986 he completed his studies with the 3rd state examination and was an assistant physician in the Department of Cardiac, Thoracic and Vascular Surgery at Kiel University Hospital until 1989. From 1989-1995, Dr. Schmidt trained as a specialist in cardiology and internal medicine at Kiel University Hospital under Prof. Simon.

As a co-founder of Cardiologicum Hamburg since 1995, he was particularly responsible for the development of the internal company structure, among other things, as head of personnel. In 2018, he and his physician colleagues founded dpv analytics GmbH as a “spin off” of Cardiologicum Hamburg and developed ritmo, which won the German Medical Award in 2021.

Dr. med. Schmidt has outstanding, long-standing experience with regard to the detection of high-risk patients. This data-based experience, gained from thousands of examinations, is at the heart of the dpv software.

As a passionate cardiologist, Dr. Schmidt, MD, shares his knowledge; he is a sought-after expert at congresses and for lectures.

Founder & Managing Director
Specialist in nuclear medicine

Dr. med. Stephan Kranz has been working as a specialist in nuclear medicine in Hamburg since 2007, with particular emphasis on nuclear cardiology. At dpv-analytics, his work focuses on development, marketing and quality management. He is working on the ongoing optimisation of the new screening procedure, familiarising doctors, patients and health insurers with the topic of dpv-ritmo and is responsible for the reliability and safety of the system in daily practice and application.

Dr. med Kranz studied human medicine in Marburg, Vienna and Zurich and completed his doctorate in Hamburg. He has been a partner of the Cardiologicum Hamburg since 2011.

Founder & CDO
Specialist in nuclear medicine and health economist

Dr. med. Matthias Glawe has been working as a specialist in nuclear medicine since 2006 with his own practice in Hamburg. He is the brains behind the technical development of the biosensor.

With his interest in digital developments and his medical expertise as a nuclear cardiologist, he recognised early on the new opportunities that digital stroke screening can offer and developed a trend-setting solution.

Dr. med. Glawe is a graduate in human medicine. Since 2011, he has been responsible for networking, digitisation and telemedicine as a partner at the Cardiologicum Hamburg.

Managing Director

Dr. Philip Nölling has been managing director of dpv-analytics GmbH since January 2021, where he is responsible for finance, organization and expansion.

The graduate economist is an internationally experienced trade and logistics expert and specialized in digitization projects at an early stage. In his professional career, Dr. Nölling held positions as Finance Director of the Otto Group and CFO of the logistic groups Hermes and dpd.

CIO

Stefan Gazinski joined dpv-analytics as CIO in April 2021. As an internationally experienced leader, he supports us in digitalization and transformation in the areas of customer relationship management and service processes involving ERP, workflow, BI and AI solutions.

With over 25 years of professional experience at companies such as Otto and Philips as an IT manager, system architect, digitalization and e-commerce expert, his extensive practical knowledge regarding all aspects of the product life cycle of individual business-critical applications, starting with requirements engineering, conceptual system design, UI design, Api design, security and risk assessments, validation, development, user acceptance procedures and testing are valuable resources.

Business Development

Anja Schwind has been responsible for project and business development at dpv-analytics since September 2021.

She is a dynamic project manager with many years of experience in intercultural project management based on international standards. She studied “Intercultural Management / Business Administration” at the University of Jena and worked for various companies and international organizations in the areas of product development and sales, communication, marketing and networking. For dpv analytics, Anja Schwind supports the team in strategic and operative business field development, especially in cooperation, market development and communication.

She has also been running her own company since 2006, which offers digital marketing on SmartScreens at the point of sale throughout Germany. For the French network “Destination Napoleon” she coordinates the conception, financing and realization of transnational cultural projects throughout Europe. She speaks fluent English and French.

Process Management

IT Project Manager

Farid Darragi has been responsible for infrastructure and customer systems at dpv-analytics since January 2020. As an IT project manager with several years of professional experience in the healthcare sector, he applies his competencies in the process analysis of practices and medical care centers.

He specializes in the expansion and integration of practice management systems, telematics infrastructure, image archiving systems as well as appointment management and video consultation hours and has administration and management experience with Windows server operating systems, Citrix, 3CX, Exchange, PVS systems. Farid Darragi has already worked for one of the largest cardiological practices – Cardiologicum Hamburg – as project and department manager and is currently involved in Conclusys GmbH as shareholder and project manager.
